The Harvest Trailer Safety Chain Attachment makes hooking up your trailer a breeze. No more lost D-shackles! Made of cast stainless steel, designed in-house.

  • Towable rating of 1750kg
  • Increase towable rating to 2500kg by replacing the bolt with a high tensile (Class 10.9) zinc plated steel equivalent
  • The hole size is 11mm x 34mm, so will fit standard 8mm trailer chain

Towing Weight Information:

With the supplied stainless bolts the lowest force required to break the bolt was 3,500KG which gives a towable rating of 1,750KG. When high tensile steel bolts were substituted for the stainless bolts the lowest force required to break the bolt was 5,000KG which results in a towable rating of 2,500KG. For loads greater than 1,750KG replace the bolt with a high tensile (10.9) zinc plated steel bolt. For loads great than 2,500KG use two crossed over chains and two trailer attachments.
